To uphold and authentically live out my professional and personal ethics and values around equity and social justice. 

 

I recognize that Black Lives Matter and that we occupy Indigenous lands.  I recognize people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and/or gender expansive, queer and/or questioning, intersex, asexual, and two-spirit (LGBTQIA2S+).

I recognize that my work toward social justice, inclusion for all, and to end racism is not the only way. It is influenced by my own white privilege, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, and lived experience.  I strive to continuously self-reflect and unlearn harmful approaches in order to promote and live by anti-oppression and anti-racism values, to provide affirming and supportive care to individuals in the LGBTQIA2S+ community.

 

I will continue to promote policies, laws, and programs that affirm, support, and value LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC individuals, families, and communities.  And will always strive to foster an environment and therapeutic relationship that reflects such.
